Putin's Latest Mockery
In an opinion editorial in The Moscow Times Ekho Moskvy political talk show host Vladimir Ryzhkov says that President-elect Vladimir Putin’s speech before the State Duma last week was little more than his latest mockery. The address made it clear that Putin has no intention of reforming the political system of the country. All of this means only one thing: Russia can expect a period of increased political tensions, civil confrontations and, God forbid, violence.
